Family Session Information
In-Home Sessions
I will arrive 5-10 minutes early to scout out the best lit areas of your home. Typically this is the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. Try to have these tidy but don’t stress too much. I don’t mind helping to prepare a room.
On Location Sessions
Before your session I will let you know where to go in the park/location and where to park and meet me. I always try to be there early and get my equipment ready. Please feel free to bring small snacks and drinks for little ones.
What to Wear
Coordinate but don’t match. Neutrals, warm/fall and muted colors photograph well with my editing style. Pinterest is a great resource for outfit inspiration. Please avoid neon colors and anything with writing or big logos. I am always happy to help with outfit planning if needed.
What to Expect
My main goal is for your session to be laidback and fun. I want to capture real moments and expressions. I will tell you to look at each other and not at me {a lot!}. I will give small directions for where to stand, what to do, etc. But I do not want anything over posed, faked or forced. My motto is “moments over perfection”.
