Happy New Year! (ok, ok I know it's almost February:) I was so excited to start 2016 with this super sweet cake smash/one year milestone session! Miss M could not have been a better model! Typically at this age little ones do not want to sit still. But she stayed right I where I placed her and we got some adorable photos! I think she is the first kiddo to use her feet in the cake smash too! I loved it.

I just adore this little guy! I met up with him and his awesome parents at the park on an usually warm day and basically just chased him around. There's no such thing as sitting still at this age. And I love it!

I don't often photograph seniors but this session has me wishing I did! I had so much fun hanging out with Hannah and capturing this important milestone for her and her family. A beautiful subject in beautiful light...that's kind of a photographers dream!

These girls were so sweet! Just tiny little packages of baby perfection. I loved how easily they snuggled up to one another. How lucky they are to have each other. And how blessed are their parents to have them :)

I had a great time meeting this little lady! I went to high school with her Momma and it was great catching up. Her big sister was as sweet as can be. Baby J made some of the best faces and she totally enjoyed her cake. In fact, I think she is the first one I've had who did a complete face plant into the cake. I loved it!

I am so excited for this sweet couple. Their twin girls will be here before we know it. And I can't wait to meet them! We had beautiful weather and a visit from a white long legged bird. We will just pretend it was a stork :)

And now she is a sticky sweet, walking, babbling machine! I loved her one year session and cake smash. But I think my favorite part has to be her bubble bath at the end! I'm so glad her parents decided to do it. Happy Birthday, Baby P!

Two are twice as nice, right? Well in this case, yes! I met up with this sweet family at their home and got to spend time with their adorable twin girls! They were full of smiles and bright eyes. I can see why Mom and Dad are truly smitten :)

Wow, long time no blog. September was a busy and exciting month for us. And somehow it just flew by! Maybe it's because we have big, bad Preschooler living with us now! :)
October should be fun and exciting too! Happy Fall!
And just like that summer is (basically) over. I'm not sad to see it go :) Fall is my favorite time of year! I'm gearing up for a busy Fall season and sending my little guy off to Preschool for the first time! Bring on pumpkin everything!

This cutie is my cousins daughter and I am lucky enough to have her hang out with me and Max during the week. She is full of personality and so sweet! I can always count on her to make me laugh.

I simply adore this family! And I really can't believe this little guy is a whole year old. I think I say that all the time but it's true. A year can fly by. I feel honored to be a part of these milestones!

And May is in the books! I can't believe how second nature, and dare I say, easy this project has become. I've been able to make daily shooting a part of our routine and I love it! Now on to June and summer time fun!
Bright eyes and tutus and cake, oh my! It always amazes me how fast a year can go by. It really doesn't feel like it's been a year since I was first meeting this little lady for her newborn session. Brace yourself because this is going to be a large share. Her Grandparents were even there to be a part of this special milestone. She is one happy girl :)

Baby N's dad is big into ATV motocross. We wanted to incorporate that into his session and thankfully Baby N was willing to oblige. I bet he'll be wearing this helmet one day :)
He's here! 9 pounds and 12 ounces of sweet baby love. He was such a quiet and calm baby during this session. I adore his hair and sweet face!
